hey there guys i have a great nikon coolpix s1 which ive had for a year and ive always looked after it well and had no problems. however for some strange reason ive recently been gettng a lens cover error. what happens is that when i turn on the camera the lens cover seems to be stuck and won't open, i have to maually get it to open and then the camera works. a very interesting thing is that this error doesn't always happen but only sometimes when i swith the camera on, i was wonderng what could be the problem because when it does happen its very annoying, and i feel like i may ruin my camera if i keep manually opening the lens cover. there are 4 little springs which open the lens cover.
one of them probably came off.
that happened to my canon a75.
I fixed it myself.
