Does the marks on camera phones affect the picture?

on my nokia phone's camera lens, there is a lot of white marks caused by hand's sweat, etc.. does this affect the picture i take or do i have to clean it.

Any mark on the screen will affect the picture quality, always clean the screen prior to taking a photo. Unfortunately if you have any scratches, they can't be removed.

You should clean it to avoid a blurry picture.

You should clean it, the pictures will pick it up as its in the direct 'line of sight' for the camera.

i would suggest cleaning the lens every now and a gain with a soft cloth. but if you cannot see any obvious marks when you take the picture, it will not have affected it.

Use a cotton bud to clean the lens if it isn't flush fitting to the phone.
