If for a moment we where to give credit to this hypotetical
fantasy , would it not be posible to belive that what we see is inverted , but maybe even the arrow of time of what we are seeing are inverted in respect to ours ? No, I don't think so. In a pinhole camera, light from all directions passes through the hole in straight lines. Light always emerges from the hole at exactly the same angle that it enters the hole. With a gravitational lens, light is bent at varying angles, depending on how close to the gravity source it passes. This causes strong distortions, so usually there is not a recognizable image produced. Astronomers have used gravitational lensing to observe hidden galaxies and other structures.
However, a gravitational lens is no different than conventional optics and will not reverse time. |
