I have an Olympus OM10 Camera and want some other lenses but can i use any make of lens or just Zuiko.?

There are so many Lenses out there but i am sure i read recently that you can use most Bayonet type lenses is this true.

I own an Olympus OM-1. You can use any manufacturer's lens as long as it has the proper mount and electrical connections for an Olympus. No you can't just go buy any bayonet mount lens. It must have been made to fit an Olympus. Fortunately, almost every lens maker marketed lenses for the Olympus system, so it shouldn't be too hard to track one down. But that said, if you can afford them, the Zuiko lenses built by Olympus are excellent lenses. They have great optics, are well made and are extremely durable. They can probably be found at most discount camera shops for a lot less than you would pay at an Olympus dealer.

Hope that's helpful.

btw--I love the camera. I've resisted getting a digital because the shots on my OM-1 are so dang good. Good choice.
