Can I use my Tamron 28-300mm lens on a digital camera? If so, any recommendations?I recently purchased two Tamron lenses. a 28-75mm and a 75mm-300mm macro lense. They both work beautifully on my Canon Rebel EOS XTi.

It's a pretty useful article.
I really love my Rebel. It takes fantastic pictures and has a lot of settings that bring a different effect to the same picture. I'm a big fan of Canon and Nikon personally. On most digital SLRs it will be the equivalent of 42-450mm zoom, so it will cover the normal to telephoto range, but not give you the wide angle that you would get using it for film.
You don't say what make of camera you currently use with this lens. The Nikon F mount is used by Fuji as on their top end digitals. Canon mounts are the same for their latest film and digital, but don't appear to be used by other makers. The Pentax K mount is used by a variety of makers, not sure of details of whether any make digitial bodies. |
