For example, refer to the specifications of the Sony DCR-HC28 http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSHO... look under the Optical/Lens section, 35mm Equivalent for an idea of the angle of the lens. you need to know the mm or focal length of the lens, and the image size form factor. The spec you give is the effective aperature or light gathering capability. |
