How to clean the lens and lcd on digital camera? |
any tips? some marks are still visible on my lcd even after cleaning. and do we have to clean the lens?? how? You could clean yours like I did mine.... buy a cleaning kit from the camera shop with the solvent they supply most damage to lenses is caused by cleaning. use VELVET cloth!! If ya have a glasses cloth, use that, it works very well. by a lens cleaning kit. Dip it in a sink full of water and add some fairy liquid. Jobs a gud un mate. The lens and lcd will be sparkling. Might be an issue with the camera working at a later date tho. With a shimmy like you use on a car window or spectacles. Always use a soft clean cloth like a clean duster on electronic equipment. If you want to save some money, just use soft flannel clothing. Make sure it is clean and particle free. Wash after each use. Discard and get new ones regularly. Try a TINY spot of toothpaste, buff up. Works on some TV screens too and mobile fone screens, watch screens etc...... did you try the moist cleaning towels for glasses? I used a can of air - sounds mad I know but it works. The spray of air cleans delicate things safely but it can even get smudges off. You can buy a can of pressure air from a PC store. it's also great for cleaning out the inside of printers, photocopier and keyboards. give it a try. About 拢3 a can! use the same liquid that you use on spectacles thats what I use My friend i don't know what kind of answer that in your heart which do you want to know from us. Whatever use soft things for soft things. I have just joined a digital camera club, and the first thing we were told, was not to use anything else except a cloth that you clean your glasses with, as anything else would be too abrasive and scratch the surface of the lens. Hope this helps and answers your question. You can use a soft, velvet cloth to clean the lens out if it has smudges or a mark of some sort. Same applies to the LCD of the camera. The way I do it is to condense the LCD screen (i.e. breathe on it) and wipe it away with the cloth. soak it in coca-cola - that stuff will disperse almost anything, put a tooth in it and leave it overnight then take a look in the morning...... It sounds like you've scratched your LCD screen. I would advise that you buy some lens cleaning fluid, and a soft cloth, and use a gentle circular motion when cleaning. Personally, I have a pen which can be used to clean both the LCD and lens of the camera. I bought it from Jessops, so my advice would be to pop into your nearest store, and ask them for further advice. I have top quality lenses. I use those moist lens cleaning tissues by Brochard. They cost about 99p per box and you can wipe the whole camera with them. white viniger and a damp rag I keep mine in the case that came with it, as such i have never had to clean it, why not you?? by cleaning the lens |
