how do i focus it, when i put it on and adjust the lens it only looks blury, im confused i need help to fix it, and quick...?!
it only comes out focused when i put the 52 mm wide angle lens on it???..help please...if you dont know..dont try and answer..and please dont leave rude unnessesary remarks.

BTW a 52mm is not a wide angle lens ...your 18mm is.
To make things much easier, take you camera into a camera store and have them check it out. While Nikon has the best quality control, there could have been some damage to the camera during shipment. put it on manual focus, find something with a straight line, like a post, turn the focus ring (at the end of the lens) if you cant get focus, have someone else try, get your eyes checked or the lens (52 is more standard than wide)
maybe check the appetures and the light your in?
good luck Either your autofocus is malfunctioning or your lens is on manual focus mode.
Normally there should be a A/M switch on the lens barrel. If it is on M (manual) then you are suppose to do all the focusing. If the lens is already on A (auto) then you probably have camera problems.
The easiest way to solve this problem is get another Nikon camera / lens set and switch lens. If the problem follows the lens then the lens is the problem. If the problem stays with the camera then it is the camera problem. Go to a local camera store and ask to see some lens for your camera. Mount them on your camera and see if the problem persists. Then try the same with new body (with your old lens).
By the way 52mm is NOT considered wide angle lens (especially on the digital cameras).

2. switch the camera on. Is the battery charged?
3. press half way on the switch (the one to take a picture)
