Looking for a good digital point and shoot camera with a macro lens.?

You didn't mention your budget, but Canon's S2 IS is an excellent camera with macro focusing capability down to 0cm. It's available on Amazon now for just under US$300.

Also try Canon. I have a Canon Rebel and I love it.
I would invest in an SLR if I was you.

Since point and shoot cameras tend to not come with different lenses your best bet would be one with a good amount of options. I'd suggest the Panasonic Lumix which has a macro feature.
Another good idea is to get a peephole from the nearest Home Depot. Make sure it gives you a 360 degree view. Place the peephole in front of the lens when taking pictures for a macro effect.

Sony W5 and W7 have an excellet macro lens. I'm not a huge fan of Sony cameras, but these really caught my eye while I was working at a Camera store. Sony uses Carl Zeiss lenses, which is very high end glass so you'll get a nice clear shot too.
