and the original instruction booklet. I was wondering what this camera might be worth, and what anybody could tell me about it? It takes beautiful pictures, I learned about SLR phoography with it. To the best of my research online this camera was new around 1951? I have a Rollicord Mark 3 TLR..On E-bay nobody bids more than @ $30., but camera shops sell them for over $200....They're only worth what someones willing to pay for them. This camera has a good reputation. I understand the 50mm lens is a Zeiss lens. The quality is great.
However, I doubt the resell price is high. I would expect about US$50 or so for one in perfect condition. Film camera collectors are few. And fewer of them would be collecting a Pentakon.
Take nice photos of it and post them on auction site like Yahoo and Ebay. At the same time, Google search the model name. Perhaps you will come across a forum with a person wishing to purchase one. In such case, you can immediately make a sale. |
