My camera fell and now the lens is stuck in a crooked/midway position.?

The camera is pretty old so I can't send it back or ask for a refund. Anyway it's my fault so they probably wouldn't take it. Do you have any tips to set it right myself?
Thanks.

ok we are agreed it is broken. SO whatever you do is not going to hurt it.

Turn the camera on. Take hold of the lens. Use the control to extend the lens out and at the same time help it along with your hand. yep force it a bit . If it is a camera where you have access to the inside of the camera open the back and push the lens out just be doggone careful where you push. Here again it's broke all you can do is fix it if it is already too old to consider paying for repair. What you learn you might use later A)always use a neckstrap if you fall a wriststrap is worse than useless B) if nothing else what DOESNT work on jammed lenses

you probably cannot do it yourself.
it may be time for a new one.
remember to always wear the wrist strap.

I am afraid you are going to need to replace the camera. These are pretty tight specifications and I doubt that you will have the tools to correct the problem. With cameras as cheap these days, you may need to invest in another.
