The lens on my sandusk camera is having trouble going out and in. How can I fix this?

I think it got moved somehow because of the way it acts but if I don't apply pressure to one side when it opens, then it freezes the camera will turn off and it beeps twice.

ok when I turn the camera on and the lens comes out, I have to pull it or help it, and when I turn it off when it goes in I have to apply pressure. this however depletes the battery life.

its in its last days sorry

you cant fix it and its not economic to do so, hence point and shots are generally disposables, if thet last more than the average 4 years you have done well and own an outdated machine

you can fix it if you go study electronics,optics and eningneering, but cheaper and better to start saving for another one
