Lens error on my camera! Help?!?

i have a HP photosmart m425 cmera, and i dropped it on accident. It keeps saying lens error when i turn it on... whats wrong? can you help?

it says lens error m425-12 (7f80)

Time for a new camera.. to fix it it would cost you around
$100, so you probably can get another one for that price...

Unless it's underwarranty then just send to the company, but they will know you dropped it...

You may find a better answer by going to a local camera repair shop. They have all the codes and what they mean. You may just have to buy a new camera.

The reason why it pops up that error message is because the lens is not accessible.

When u droped it (by accident), u have damaged the machanism insdie that lens, which then resulted in the lesn can't be push out or pull in (zooming). THerefore, the error was poped-up.

Do not try to use a screwdriver to disassemple the unit, because u may make it even worse.

Bring it to a authorized Repair shop to ask for the warranty (if u still have it) and then ask them what gonna happen to ur camera. You may pay a lil bit to fix it, but that's more expensive than ur camera's price, drop it again and buy a new one hihi..

it says the same thing on my camera only i didnt drop it..when ever i turn it on it says lens error and that same code and it doesnt zoom out..does your zoom out?
