The way it is set up is with the viewfinder on a side that is not opposite the lens so when you looked through the viewfinder and snapp a photo, it is actually taking a picture of what is to the left the photographer and not straight in front. Anybody know who makes this? I know it exists because I met a guy traveling with one, but didn't take the time to learn who made it. The Canon Powershot A630, A640, S2-IS and S3-IS have a "flip-out-and-twist" LCD monitor that would accomplish this trick. So does my older Nikon Coolpix 5400 and several others in the older Coolpix 5xxx line.
The Olympus E-330 has a flip-open monitor, but I don't think it flips out to the side the way the others do.
The Sony DSC-R1 has a flip-up-and-twist LCD monitor on top of the camera. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/sonydscr... |
