Pocket sized camera with wide angle lens?

I am at the point of upgrading an old point & press camera and need some assistance please. I use professional cameras such as the D2X Nikon but am looking for a small camera to carry all the time. I need 28mm at the wide end and a small zoom and really a maximum of 7mp. I am not going to print A3+ prints but perhaps A4 from this camera

My choice would be the Canon Powershot SD800-IS. Actually, I think I like the SD700-IS better, but it doesn't go to 28 mm. Of course, you can see all the test images in the reviews, but here is my own comparison of the SD700-IS and the SD900: http://www.flickr.com/photos/7189769@N04...

I'm not a huge fan of the camera, but the widest angle I know about in a small, easy to operate camera is the Kodak V705. I say that I'm not a fan, because you won't get extremely high quality images from the wide angle end, which is fixed at an equivalent of 23 mm. We both know that you are not going to try making any photographic quality, poster-sized prints, though. In fact, if you don't do any cropping, you might even be happy with prints as big as 8x10.

Since pocket sized cameras couldn't compared with Professional Cameras,because pocket sized camera won't given you best qualities of results,also couldn't print as large as you need,like A4, 10x12 inches,16x20 inches or wall paper sized.If you don't believed me,you could try the Professional camera and pocket sized camera.

The Ricoh R6 & R7's are good wee cams, nice big zoom range (28mm-200mm in 35mm terms) good build quality, compact.
