HI everyone
I would like to find out that if it is possible for me to use my old praktica bayonet mount lens on my pentax k mount camera. I understand that I would need an adpator and I will lose lots of funtions but since I have so many of the bayonet mount lens I really would like to use them on my new camera so I dun need to spend much on the expensive new lens. My found out that my old praktica lens is far better than the new lens in term of quility!
Hope someone can tell me if there is such adpator and if so where can I get them from? I have tried on ebay but couldn't find any result!
How about using a 2 adpators which mean I use the first one to change the bayonet mount into m42 screw mount and the 2nd one is for changing the m42 into K-mount. pls let me know if it works this way!!
thank you all!! I think it's unlikely, but try these places:

and
http://www.porters.com/
They both have free catalogs available filled with digital and analog gadgets.
Using two adapters, if they were available, to make the conversion you'd like, would probably take the lens away from where it needs to be in relation to the film plane to focus at infinity. In other words, you might be able to take pictures with the set-up, but only close-ups. |
