Some one dropped my Exilim camera and now the lens will not open!!?

Where can I get a new lense or get a repair on my new casio 'Exilim' 7.2 pixel- Model number- EX2700?

After it was dropped, the lens will not open all the way, and the motor just runs then it says lense error. When it does open up, it will not focus on anything; just a blurr.

I love this small and versitile camera for work and at play as it travels everywhere and is great for my job! HELP, as I moved and can not find the box or info online for lense repair location near me. (Indianapolis area)

Ps. camera was bought in Balad, Iraq dec. 2006 at AFESS it is special to me.

Try www.CameraRepairs.com in Avon, IN. Free estimates. It is probably cheaper to fix it than replace it.

Consider the repair cost is going to be most likely over $200 us dollars to repair it.
It may be better to just invest in a new one
The new exilim nv7 has 7 times optical zoom. Then do not loan it to anyone. Going rate is over $80 an hour to repair a camera.

I needn't tell you that your lens is broken, and it needs a repair. I would find you a Casio repair center, however, cameras are often times not Worth repairing. Such a fatal injury to the camera has obviously damaged the lens, and a repair would likely require the lens to be replaced by a new unit. I can guarantee that to cost at least one hundred, if not several hundred dollars. Therefore, that justifies purchasing a new camera. I'm sure your camera is fairly new and you're not very interested in an upgrade, but for a bit more, you can probably get yourself a newer and better camera (trust me, Casio is not the best camera manufacturer)

hi your Exlilm is a great camera! but the sad fact it was drooped !the sad fact is that it has to be taking in to the repair shop !the big problem here is that if you have a current warranty. it is now void! the manufacturer will not cover the Warranty! it is not no longer cover! you can still have it repair but you will have to pay for it out of pocket but it will not be a cheep repair! BEFORE YOU DO ANY THING get an estiment! BEFORE YOU GET THE REPAIR DONE! Thank you,
