My optimus digital camera says lens error when turned on and shuts off by itself.?

The camera was dropped and was working fine after. When I turn it on I see that the shutter is stuck and will not open. I just got this camera used and wonder if it would be expensive to get it repaired.

You need to tell us what kind of camera it is and maybe we can tell you what it's worth. It sounds like the drop jammed up the internal mechanisms. Most likely you would find you can get a used camera on ebay that is better than the one you have and less expensive than what it would take to fix the one you have. Probably cost more to fix than replace, especially since it is a used camera.
