What happens when you drop a digital camera on its lens? Will or should it still work?

My sister dropped my polaroid digital camera on a hard wood floor & when i saw it it wuz dropped on its lens? What can or should I do to make it work, because it isnt cutting on or responding to the USB cord, what are so available open options????????

Does it still take pictures ?
Does the lens telescope in and out ?
Does it still move in and out ?
Try taking some pictures, as usual.
Then un-plug and re-plug the cable and camera.
Check your battery, maybe it got knocked loose.
If nothing works, maybe a chip got knocked loose inside the camera.
Call the manufacturer for advise.
Maybe the camera is still under warranty and the repair costs will is reasonable.

mayb mayb not try it

depends your camera.and how its drop

Your camera is most likely shot. If you break the lens or even if it fell, something could have gotten lose inside. If you have a warranty on the camera, the company may be able to fix it for you. I would call them and see what happens. It probably you cost you to fix it. If it is doomed, you should buy an Olympus Stylus 720 SW. I have this camera and it is great. It has a small lense and there is a shutter thing that covers it. The camera also have image stablization. But the best feature of the camera is that it is waterproof (no waterproof case needed) for up to ten feet for up to one hour. It is also shockproof for up to five feet. That means that if you drop it, it will be okay (saying that you do not drop it many times). Below is the link to find out more about it (it is a little pricey).

If you have to repair it, buying a new one may not cost as much as repair bill. I would though think of other brands such as Canon, Sony, and Fugi.

Contact us for digital camera repair's and had to find part's

Try removing every removable part and putting back together. I don't like your chances if the USB cord isn't recogniseing it though.

If the camera uses a memory card you may like to try a card reader if you have one, or even taking it to a photo printing kiosk and seeing if it can recognise any of the images. If that works you might like to invest in a card reader of your own.

Good Luck
