How do i get the sand out of my camera lens? |
I took it to the beach and it still works but it makes an awful grinding noise and i think it might be ruining it on the inside. an easy way is to get a bottle of compressed air not the duster stuff that just gunks up your lens and then put the little nozzle in and blow it out Please let me know if you find out! You should take it to have it professionally cleaned at a photography store. You should take it to a camera store that does camera cleaning and maintenance and have them take it apart and see if they can clean it. Also, if your camera is still under warranty, you might be able to get it repaired or replaced. try compressed air... In a camera store or a computer store, get an aresol can of compressed air. (Called keyboard cleaner or something). Blow out each of the crevices in the camera. take it to a proffessional before it gets destoyed beyond repair or get a fan and blow the sand out Definately take it to a camera shop, ASAP. The longer you wait and use the camera, the more damage is done to your camera. The sand is definately ruining the camera the sooner you take it the camera shop the better, plus the sooner they fix it, the least damage is done and it won't cost as much as it would later on. Good Luck! take to a repair shop fast, or get a pressurised air can and blow the sand out |
