I got a smudge on my digital camera lens... what do i do now? |
I got all the smudges out except one... despite all my best efforts... it just wont come out... it's in focus when have max zoom--if that helps anyone determine an answer. So what can I do to get it out... any tips/tricks? thanks Do NOT use Windex or any other corrosive cleaner on your lens. You will ruin the lens. pour acid on it. that'll get it out, along with your lense hahah. What caused the smudge? If it doesn't come out with lens cleaning solution (like for eyeglasses), then try a little Windex. (Be sure not to get it in the camera). If that doesn't work, then you may have to see if it's not just a smudge but either a scratch on the lens, a defect in the optics, or an internal smudge that you can't reach. Breathe on the lens, just enough to fog it, then take a cloth made for camera lenses, and gently wipe the smudge off. DO NOT use Kleenex, or eyeglass cloths, because they sometimes have chemicals imbedded. you should try to use those eye glass clothes i bet that would work....i hope lol use a special cleaner call you copany |
