Just bought a Konica Autoreflex A3 SLR 35mm Camera? |
I'm sort of new to cameras but I want to learn. I just bought a fairly cheap Konica Autoreflex A3 SLR 35mm Camera from Ebay. My camera arrived, but I'm not sure how to put the zoom lens on the camera. I asked the seller and he said I could get an instruction manuel online, but the only ones I have found I had to pay for. Look at the end of the lens that attaches to the camera. You should see a red dot. Now look on the front of the camera where the lens attaches. You should see a red dot. Line up the dots and gently - gently - try turning the lens clockwise (to your right if looking at the front of the camera). If that is the wrong way then try turning it the opposite direction. Look on amazon for a book by Lou Jacobs, Jr. on the Konica. Lou wrote many books on that camera and in any of them you should find all you need about your A3. It is a rather old camera (over 30 years), so you may want to have a camera repair store check its shutter speeds for accuracy. |
