I stepped on my camera lens help me please? |
it was on the floor and on and i didnt know because my friend left it on the floor so i steped on it and now when i turn it on it wont come out all the way . do you think i can get it fixed help me please my mom dosent know yet and i worked so hard for this camera its a pink exilm help me please im freaking out :( It's a pink camera and it got what it deserved. If it's coming out but not all the way, one of the lens elements is broken. Lens elements are the tiny little pieces of glass that make up the lens. They shatter and get stuck inside the mechinism, so even if the lens would come out all they way, your picture would be blurry. This is the most common problem in all Casio Exilm cameras. A typical repair for this would cost anywhere between $100 to $150 dollars. Sorry to break the news. Do you know if you have a service plan for it? Most store service plans nowadays cover accidental damage, like what you describe. If they still sell this particular model, just buy another one & exchange the damaged one for you money back. |

Twisting the lens is exactly the right solution - by dropping, the pin for screwing the lens outwards was misarranged. If twisting wouldn't work, you could also try to pull slightly. To react... I get that effect with my holga ...Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered... You might have found the place. My late husband had one but WHERE is it. I shall have to do some digging ...needle in a haystack stuff.....but not today. Will try this week. I have never used it ..... ... a) This part they are asking for the image distance. Use the thin lens equation to find the image distance. 1/p + 1/q = 1/f p=the distance from Carlos to the camera = 3000mm f=focal lengt... As I've found, there's no way to add normal conversion lenses or something, no thread, no adapter or so. The only way to "upgrade" is attaching Cokin filters via Digi Holder. I have photos with orbs on and I have the MOST AMAZING "ghost" photograph taken in my house about 10 years ago, the house is 17 years old and I thought these kind of things only appeare... |
