it is the lens motor their is something stick in the lens motor i had this problem before i get into the slr cameras try to fix it and if you worry that you will make it worse take it to the custom...

It's a pink camera and it got what it deserved. Buy a different color and you will not think of it as a toy that you can leave on the floor. This one is toast.

Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered...

You might have found the place. My late husband had one but WHERE is it. I shall have to do some digging ...needle in a haystack stuff.....but not today. Will try this week. I have never used it .....
