Is This A Good Video Camera For Youtube Vids? |
I am looking into buying a video camera, i want the quality of the video to be good decent and i want it to have alot of memory I found one but it seems too cheap to be true lol Looking over the list it has a tiny sensor pixel count (7MP is pretty much standard) and no optical zoom (3x optical zoom is typical) and the lens is "fixed focus" ... that means it is pre-focused at 2m or 6 feet .. no auto-focus ... it is basically just a toy. |

thats normal! using a fisheye, you will get distortion around the edges. ...It would help if you could give the type, make, and model of the camera, otherwise all I can tell you is the camera is pretty much hosed. ~~~~~~EDIT~~~~~~ Thanks for the details. This is a 5 megapixel camera with 10 megapixel interpolation (this means the camera will internally enlarge the pic, this is not a true 10mp camera as the actual photo that is taken would be smalle... Well aside from a professional disassembly and dry-out here's pretty much your only chance. Remove the battery and memory card. Place the camera in direct sunlight, be sure that the LCD viewfi... Call Kodak's help line. They can help you resolve this problem ... it could be as easy as "resetting" the camera ...Remove the memory card and battery. Put them in sealed plastic bags with a dessicant. If that doesn't work, you're probably going to have to buy a new camera. ... |
