Help there is something wrong with my camera!!!!! Plz help!? |
Ok I have an HP Photosmart digital camera. And I recntly droped it on the floor by accident and now when I turn it on it says LENS eRROR : M425-22 ( 7f80) and it wont let me do anything else it just says that and then after apporximatly 30 seconds it goes off. Does anybody know why it dose this and how can I fix it? Not a good day for you camera... The error is indicating that the lens servo is binding. This tells the CPU to shut down to avoid servo damage. Bottom line... your lens is struck (won't move in or out) if you can unstuck it maybe you can salvage your camera. Your camera is sensing a jammed lens cover or a cracked lens. shut off your camera remove the memory card and take out the battery.Let the camera reset I would let it sit for 30 minutes while you are recharging your battery. Then reinsert your memory card and battery and turn it on.That should reset any malfunction error codes.Again I don't know what model you have I'm just taking from experience with my hp photosmart camera's I've had. Hope this does the trick. You also could of jarred something loose. If it doesn't reset, depending on your electronic expertise I would remove the back cover and look for anything unusual. I have found that sometimes by just taking it apart and putting it back together without doing anything to it it sometimes starts working again. But I wouldn't take it apart unless you have some type of electronic experience.I would just try to reset it by removing the battery. Hp?, sounds more like canon to me, this happened to me twice in the past, and i know that it's not that nice of a problem to go through. The first time, the camera dropped, and i did nothing about it , i couldn't fix it, and as we speak another canon of mine is at a canon repair shop being looked at ( or in transit, it's not relevant anyway ). Normally, depending on the manufacturer they will issue a refund or warranty repair. They may even make you pay to repair it , it all depends. Personally, i have had no experience with H.P company. Just give Hp a call : |

A story--I am not trying to be funny here. A friend of mine decided to do a little surgery on his Canon kit lens--I thought the word was 'disassemble'. Anyway, after removing just a f... Using v for the lens distance: (a) 0 + 1 / v = 1 / 5 v = 5.0 cm. Parallel light from infinity converges to the focus. (b) 1 / 20 + 1 / v = 1 / 5 v = 6.67 cm. ...woah, sounds so familiar to me, this happened to me day before last, but it was with a film SLR camera, and since it's so old i left it alone, i'm getting a better one soon anyway ( this ... Looking over the list it has a tiny sensor pixel count (7MP is pretty much standard) and no optical zoom (3x optical zoom is typical) and the lens is "fixed focus" ... that means it is pr... thats normal! using a fisheye, you will get distortion around the edges. ...It would help if you could give the type, make, and model of the camera, otherwise all I can tell you is the camera is pretty much hosed. ~~~~~~EDIT~~~~~~ Thanks for the details. Sorry but, ... I have the same camera...but I have never came across this problem, why not try taking the batteries out, or you might have to try and get it repaired. ...Normally I don't recommend people taking apart their camera, but since its broken already you've got little to lose and much to gain.
