What do you use to clean your camera lens(es)? |
Is there anything around the house I can use to clean off my camera lens? I took the camera out the other day while it was a little rainy, and the lens got a few drops of dirty rainwater on it. Would regular glass cleaner work, or is there something else/something better to use? Ah. Good thing I asked before using anything. =) Glass cleaner will damage the lens coating and may (if you spray it on the lens) seep down in between the lens and lens barrel and actually attack the adhesives holding the lens elements. You need a proper lens cleaning cloth and fluid else you may scratch or damage your lens. |
