Camera dropped in water, working... but? |
I dropped my camera in water (not salt water). i dried it for a week, with all of the compartments unscrewed and taken off. I'm not too sure, but it sounds like the water destroyed the camera sensor, the part that takes the data from the light and converts it into a photo. Or just some connectors could be damaged. You best bet for repair is probably to bring it to a third party repair centre and ask for a quote first, since the water damage voids your warranty. Its dead. Call a priest, buy a new camera, use the strap to hold it at all times. |
