Is this lens compatible? |
I have a Minolta 7000 Maxxum, and I recently found an old zoom lens of my dad's from the 80s in really great condition. I'm not really sure how to know if they're compatible beyond shoving the lens on the body, but as that doesn't seem like the brightest idea, I'll copy what it says on the lens for you to decide: Hi there... just a quick read for you. If you can find a good used Ricoh body for under $25 or so, buy it and enjoy the lens. ... otherwise you can sell it for about the same about if you can find anyone still using Ricoh 35mm cameras. Vivitar is a third party manufacturer of lenses and made lenses for many camera brands. Take the lens off your camera and try to match it to the Vivitar lens. If they look the same give it a try but be gentle and don't force it. |
