Any idea on how I can fix this HP M-425 Digital 5.0 Camera? |
I might have to buy a new one. I had never dropped it before and for 5 years it's been great. BUT NOW, when I try to turn it on...I get "Lens Error M425L" NOW the lens won't come out. I turn it on and it says error then shuts itself off. I did as HP told me to do. I removed the batteries and the smart card. THEN put the batteries back in without the card...And turned it on...got the same thing. He didn't know what else to offer me for help. Pretty much, the camera is broken and there's nothing you can do to fix it, other than to either replace it or have it repaired by a pro. |

It sounds like somehow the lense got stuck. Does the lense look or sound like it's trying to move? Can you turn it on in play mode? ...Well, no.
