PLEASE help me fix my digital camera? |
it was in my backpack (on my back) when i was on a roller coaster..but a soda in my bag started leaking and when i got off the ride the camera was wet (not soaked tho) and i wiped it off well and it worked fine. a little later though.. the screen was normal but very dark.. even on the brightest setting. and the camera started randomly turning off. i wiped the lens but what else can i do? i dont want to risk taking it apart, omg nevermind i fixed it!! on the screen theres still these vertical lines and a little blotch in the corner.. from the spill inside the lens or something. but its working fine other than that! Soda inside the camera and you didnt take the batteries out imediately. Your probably just going to wind up buying another camera. Warranties cover camera defects, not accidents. Even if your camera is under the manufacturer's warranty, they won't repair it. The best thing you can do is take it to the place where you got it and ask if they can look at it. You should have warranty on it if you haven't had it too long. I say open up the battery latch, and clean that out, and possibly change the battery! |
