Why isn't my kodak camera wokring?!? |
okay so i have a red M763 kodak camera. :/ Your camera is absolutely under the warranty period. You will have to take it in to where you bought it. They may or may not be the place that will send it to Kodak, but they will advise you if you have to send it in yourself. Now, you mentioned the camera got a bit wet and it has had a slight fall which may in fact have caused the malfunction. If so, your warranty will not cover having it repaired. I would not mention that up front however, because you will be pointing to a problem without letting the repair techs determine that for themselves... and you will be the one responsible for the problem. Just take it in and say... It Stopped Working. See what happens. If they conclude that the problem is User Error and you do have to pay for the repair... If it is not cost effective to have it fixed... the best advice I can give you is... hmm, i would take it to a bestbuy because thats where i got mine. (i have the exact same camera in the exact same color) There will probably be a Kodak specialist there that could help you, and if not someone who is a camera specialist in general. good luck! if it is broken beyond repair then they might be able to replace it. mine has been working fine for about a year and i havent had too many problems. i have heard that the camera can freeze up sometimes. sound like it got more then a bit wet if you have the receipt take it back where you got it and tell them its broke not that it got wet they should replace it |
