Camera questions .. . . . . .?

-is there a name for the type of camera that can have diffrent lenses? (NOT DIGITAL CAMERAS)

-how do you know how fast pictures are taken on a (type of camera that has diffrent lenses)

What you are talking about are called SLR (single lens reflex) cameras. They come in both film and digital versions.

SLR cameras will not have any shutter lag like point and shoot digital cameras if that is what you are asking about. When you press the shutter button you will have instantaneous response.

If you are referring to burst rate this will vary from 2.5 frames per second up to 10 or 11(fps) for the professional models.

SLR- Single Lens Reflex
Refers to a camera, that can mount different lenses. They have both Digitsl SLR's, and Film SLR's. Film SLR's were the professional cameras of the early days.

you can audibly hear the speed, whenever the shutter goes off, most cameras under 600$, can't shoot that fast. Especially film cameras, because you have to rewind it etc. But the nikon d3 can shoot at 11 F.P.S ( frames per second ) which is very quick in practice.

Sounds like you are working with older style cameras with film. Most product instruction manuals come with the original camera to answer such questions. If you don't have that you may check with the manufacture for the specifications of the camera you are working with. Otherwise you could go to a local camera shop who may be able to help out.
