Best Digital Camera model around Rs.10,000 in India?

Please help me to choose best model from Canon and Nikon in India

I was shopping for a camera not to long ago. I would suggest doing some research through www.cnet.com and www.photographyreview.com they have editor picks based on mega pixels and on price. I enjoy not only the professional reviews but the reviews by consumers which give you and idea of the cameras abilities based on normal peoples use. I myself went with the Cannon PowerShot SD700 for a point and shoot camera and for the small size with image stabilization. I was able to find an excellent deal getting it for only $288.00 US. All of my pictures have been excellent as long as the subject isn't moving to fast (juggling pictures did not turn out so great). For a portrait, fast action camera I would suggest the Cannon EOS Digital Rebel XT it performs great and should not become obsolete for several years.

nikon L6 or look out for sony point and shoots- they are a plenty to choose from..........

you will be able to purchase Sony or cannon 7 MP ones for 10000/;or at the most 11000.

sony 5.2 Mp is also very fine...you can take it.

CANON POWERSHOT A450 is a good camera within Rs 10000.00
