Best digital camera that records video? |
I've been shopping around for one for a while now and the two that have caught my eye are the Sony CyberShot and the Canon PowerShot. I got stuck with a dededee in electronics and he didn't know a thing about the cameras - when I asked which ones recorded video he replied this one "should," or that one "should" and that was that. I'm curious to know how long your reccomendation records for, how the video quality is, etcetera. Do you think one out of the two I've selected are worth it, if so, which one? Thanks, help is really appreciated! i have a canon and my sister has the sony. we both like ours a lot. the sony, i think, is more attractive looking, but they both work really well. sony is usually more expensive sony is the best for that unless you can pay for a panasonic i brought mine from You should get the PENTAX Optio W30. It has TONS of features, VERY good picture quality, its sleek & stylish. And to add to all that, its waterproof! You can see the camera here: http://www.pentaximaging.com/products/pr... Most compact cameras will record some kind of video, but VERY low resolution. Very similar to what a good webcam will do, but not good enough to play on your TV with any kind of quality. Sony cyber shot best prices at http://www.monstermall.org use the search box Most digital cameras will record video, but its equivelent to VHS or analog TV quality. The Canon Powershot TX1 though will do 1280 x 720 at 30 frames per second (fps). That's better than DVD! It's a compact digital camera. If you shop around, you might be able to get it for $300. |
