Camera issues...help pleeasee?

i just got a digital camera- the canon power shota530 and i took some videos and i was wondering how to email them to people- i also took pictures, so i was wondering how to be able to send both to people thru email. thanks for ur help!!

I would encourage using an uploading tool like photobucket.com, it allows you to upload videos and pictures, then you can email your friends links to the files via photobucket. (Photobucket's free)

when you get your film developed, have them put them on a disk for you, then you can do with them as you please

I have found that if you hook the camera up to a USB port and turn it on the computer assumes that it is an additional drive so you can download pic files and movies directly from there to email however make sure the movie file is formatted to what ever you email server accepts if it is in .mov most servers will not acknowledge it

I regularly send photo`s over the internet (advanced Amateur take/send photo`s for a humaine society website) and its very easy anyone can do it .Not knowing if you have software that came with the camera Ill assume you dont have a photo editing program , After hooking up the usb cable and after its "on" your computer just (on the upper left hand corner of the screen or window) left click on the following, file, send, shortcut to desktop. then after you have a copy on your desktop start composing a email and then resize your window so you can see the shortcut you`ve created on your desktop. Then click and hold on the shortcut the drag it over and "drop" it onto your email then send. If your image is too large for your or the recipients system you may need to "compress" it, also very easy. if this all sound complicated its really easy once youv done it a few times
