Need help choosing a digital camera.......? |
Under $500 dollars. More than 5 pixels. I just want to take really sharp bright pictures. i always go on flickr.com and search random things and some pictures look so good, so bright, and detailed. I want it to be compact or ultra compact, with a LCD. I want to take pictures that look just as good as this pic or even better ---> http://flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=1689... Well forget the small part, I just want it to take really nic, clear, detailed shots. i will recommenf you one. be live it or not wlly world has real nice ones like a cannon or Kodak for even under $300 the power shoot is a real good camera I have a Canon D20 that cost $1,500 AND a Nikon 7.1 megapixal Coolpix 7500 that cost $219 from Walmart.com. I use the Nikon all of the time, it's GREAT. I am taking it to Alaska tomorrow and leaving the Canon home. i recently go an awesome camera it is not a small camera but it is a very good camera it is an Olympus SP500 UZ it is 6 megapixles and had a 10x zoom with a 5 time optical zoom it is a very nice camera and takes wonderful pictures it runs about 399 but if you look online you can find much better prices i just got mine new from BuyDig.com for 244 free shipping BrandNew. You can go to bhphoto.com They have some great deals on point and shoot cameras. <|:-) dude, I have a canon SD400 camera, got it for less than $500 CAD a year ago and it is 5MP. It is a very nice camera in that you can use the normal mode where the camera does auto focus and auto intensity (AfAi) for you so you don't have to worry much, or you can use the manual mode to adjust shutter speed and exposure. There are a lot of stuff you can play with for this camera, provided that you are not looking for a professional level camera (otherwise you want a SLR). I think I saw the SD600 recently and the price is around the same when I got my SD400, with bigger LCD screen and higher megapixel. Canon SD series is definitely one of my top choices. Though you should pay attention to the optical zoom of the camera too, just having high MP doesn't get to clear images sometime. Kodak easy share pics are the best. then you can buy the printer & dock and they are Sweet. mine's a c643 I bought the Powershot SD700 for my lady and it has turned her into a continuous photographer. I am serious. She carries it with her everywhere. The image stabilizer makes her shots come out crisp, the ISO 800 is usuable with the DigicLogic II processor. OK, it does not have AV or TM mode nor does it allow you to shoot in RAW, but she can cheat that by adjusting ISO and playing with White Balance a bit. It truly is a point and shoot camera. The movies are remarkably clear too. |
