Whats the best digital camera for less than $220?

Whats the best digital camera for less than $220? Today I purchased the Samsung S850, which is 8.1 megapixels. But even with the 8.1 megapixels it is blurry a lot of the times, and the only setting that its decent on is the auto. The shake resistor or whatever is pretty much useless. I need a good camera that has image stability and and does not produce blurry pictures, rather nice quality pictures. I was thinking about getting a canon but I am not sure...please help me out :p

Any of the Canon Powershot cameras are very reliable, great quality for the price, and unless you want something larger than an 5x7, or 8x10 if you're not too picky, 5 megapixels will suit you just fine. Remember, if you just learn a little, you can have fine photos with just about any camera. Sounds like your shutter speed might have been too slow (blur), increase the ISO and you don't need to pay for image stabilization. The IS that you will get for under $220, well, I would doubt it's all that great. Shoot with a Canon, you won't regret it!

Go for a Canon Powershot, all you need for excellent picture quality is 3 megapixels. That is all you need to produce clear images, canon cameras adjuct to the environment and light conditions well, and my camera is from 2003 and the pictures come in absolutely amazing quality.

Kodak Easyshare!*- they are excellent camera's and work very well. i would recomend it to anyone..

Check the Fuji Finepix F30. Has the best picture quality for indoors and very competitive outdoors. Many web site reviewers consider it the deal at that price. Check the samples at dpreview.com
