So you can put the camera down then step back and take a picture without holding it? I can't find anything about it in the manual. My camera's a Canon PowerShot A630 if that helps. Thanks!! there should be a button that has a symbol of a clock with one of the hands point in one direction. if you click that it will give you about 10 seconds to prepare for the picture. if you can't find anything in your manual or can't find this button, then the camera might not have that option My camera is an Olympus.
