Canon AE1 lenses. Are there any digital cameras on the market that will use lenses made for the AEI?

Canon AE1 lenses. Are there any digital cameras on the market that will use lenses made for the AEI?

Unfortunately not.

The AE1 used FD mount lenses, the FD mount was discontinued in 1987 in favour of the EF mount that Canon currently uses.

You can probably find an adapter that will let you use your old lenses on an EF mount camera. I would take your lenses to a store and have them try them on a Rebel XTi.

Take care!

Canon being the greatest Camera manufacture in the world (according too some people on here), couldn't figure out how to make their auto focus camera work with their old lens mount. Nikon figure it out. This is why I don't want anything to do with Canon.
