Digital camera help, PLEASE!!?

my friend has this digital camera with a feature in which you point the box on the screen at a color, and everything in the image but that color is black and white. its like an eyedropper tool or something like that. which cameras has that option? i think hers was a canon, but i dont know which make or model it was.. i need a good one, but less than 300 dollars. please help if you can; i really need this!!

alot of the canons have that feature. it is not all it is cracked up to be. plus, you will get tired of it in a hurry. go to canonusa.com and see which cameras have that feature.

If you're not sure how to use that feature and neither does she, it may be bet not to have a camera with it.

Can you clarify what the function DOES?? Is it in the act of taking the picture, is it for editing a image, is it for previewing an image?? Why do you need this function? I'll check back and answer when you provide more details.

My guess is that it's a histogram. Outside of that, and your lack of details I have no idea.
