I always take tons of pictures and videos @ concerts. Sometimes my videos come out clearer than my pictures mostly because its hard to take a clear picture with hundreds of people dancing against you! There has to be some program i can download, or a website i can go too and make pictures from my videos. I took these with a Canon powershot A620 camera. Nothing fancy. Any suggestions? You don't mention what type of computer you have, but both Macs with iMovie and Windows XP with Windows Movie Maker can accomplish this task.
Both these programs came with their respective computers when you bought it. Being that PC's are more popular, I'm going to assume that you have a PC with Windows XP.
In your start menu, go to All Programs, then Accessories, then down to Windows Movie Maker.
In Windows Movie Maker, open up the video and then play it and pause it where you'd like to take the picture. Then at the bottom right side under the video preview, there's a small button with a camera inside of it that you can press with the mouse to "Take a Picture."
It's really that simple. Just play your video, pause where you'd like to take the pic, then click the button. The picture will then be saved in your "My Pictures" folder (I believe).
Hope that helps. I forget which one it was, but I had software that you could use to pull video off of digital camcorders, and pictures off of digital camcorders.
I just hooked up my camcorder, told the software it was a digital camera, then pressed play, and hit the "capture" button several times to grab frames.
It's really basic and dirty way of doing it, but it worked!
Someone else will probably have a better answer, but figured I'd share anyways.
You could also watch the video, pause it on a good shot, and then take a screenshot by using the prnt scrn button on the upper right of your keyboard, and then pasting it into photo software, like paint. |
