Do you have to use the makers rechargeable batteries a digital camera. the ones I use discharge very quickly? |
I have a canon powershot A620 camera i have that same camera, i went to walmart and got the energizer rechargeable batteries and charger for like 20 bucks, they work great! the charger comes with 6 batteries i think 4 or six, the charger works real fast and the batteries last awhile too! you can go to radio shack and they can probably find you something better if yours are discarging quickly, but try Canon first they may consider it a defect and get you a new battery free, hopefully something better If they discharge quickly, you're probably using the ordinary kind. Look for batteries that have a 'mah' rating of 2100 or more. (seriously) get some new batteries. then make sure you charge them up and COMPLETELY DISCHARGE them before re-charging. you dont have to use the canon brand batteries. I am sorry, as I am also suffering from the same problem. My Samsung Digimax 1.30 Mega Pixels uses AA x 4 Batteries and I can hardly take 16 pictures with the built-in 'CompactFlash'. USE Nah CADMINIUM BATRIES EG:- everdey reacharfable 2100 Rs 1540 If you charge directly from the camera, you do need to be careful of the chemcial of battery being used. Brand doesn't matter. Use MAHA 2700 mah Nimh rechargeables with a MAHA C204W charger(worldwide voltage compatible). In my Canon A700 I get 250 to 300 shots, using the lcd screen 100% and the flash 25%. |
