Do digital cameras set off metal detectors?

Seriously all I want to do is take pictures of me and my friends at an outdoor concert. I'm not up to anything fishy.

It's very likely to set off the detector. The inside of the camera has quite a few metal parts.

It depends on how sensitive the metal detector is. Usually, it will set them off. If you have to ask about sneaking a camera in, then it's probably best not to bring it along.

If its metal it will set it off thus the words metal detector!

I assume that you are talking about security metal detectors. The answer is no.
