Looking to buy a digital camera? |
im after a digital camera to replace a film slr, i want to keep manual controls, aperture/shutter priority but dont want a digital slr, any suggestions of good bridge camera? camera will be used for traveling, hence not wanting a digital slr. anyone got feedback on canon powershot g7? Any highend pro-sumer fixed lens digital camera is good because the sensor is sealed to dust and dirt. I use the Kodak series, but Canon is just as good. Mine is a Kodak P850. look at canons, it seems they make the best camera all around. (even though i have an olympus SLR, and it is a great camera, i think for a compact point and shoot all around great handy carry around everywhere camera, i'll get a canon, and it is on my list of things to get very soon) it seems they have more quality and choice, and a greater pixel choice (from not so many to over l0m) I bought a Samsung Digimax L85 this summer (拢299 but is cheaper now), which is my first venture into digital film and I have found it to be a fantastic camera. It is easy to use and has all the manual and automatic functions that you would ever need. It has a 5X optical zoom and 8.1 mega pixels and the in-camera editing is great. It has a black rubber and metal casing that makes it stand out from all the same looking cameras that you see everywhere and the build quality is up there with the best of them. If there is a downside to any of its functions, it is the macro auto-focus which is poor. Also, as with all digital cameras, seeing through the 2.5 inch lcd screen in any kind of bright light is sometimes a bit of guess work, but thats when the in-camera editing comes in handy. Before I bought it, I read many camera reviews and came to the conclusion that this is one of the best pieces of kit you can buy, whatever the price and I have not been disappointed. I hope this is of help. Canon s3is, sony DSC H5, Fuji S9000, Kodak P880 GO for it. I use Nikon pro equipment but my choice for point and shoot is Canon. You wont find a better point and shoot camera. |
