For a Digital Camera the cord you plug into the computer... can you use a USB cord or an AV crod?

I may be getting the Canon庐 PowerShot SD450 5.0-Megapixel Digital ELPH Camera and the cable type included is a AV cord.. can that be plugged into the computer?

the USB cord is for the computer, and the AV cord is to plug into the TV. all cameras pretty much (especially the powershot) will come with a USB cord

Most likely a USB cord - some have both but when there's only one option provided it's usually USB
