I just got a Canon PowerShot A540 4X Digital for graduation. I was told from someone that I can use my digital camera as a webcame too. Is that possible? If so, how do I install it to my computer. I have tried several times to bring up the webcame part of my camera but it seems like it doesn't work. Yes, I have installed the software (CD). To let you know, I have a XPS 400 Dell computer. If any one knows how to do help in any way I would be more than happy. Thanks! where u try using cam as web? yahoo? aol and does ur cam have live recording not just still shot and u might need to uninstal ur driver and reinstall u might of gotten currupted install even though ur camera taken pics still ur web partion might got corrupted You're gonna have to give a little more information, from what I know of cameras, none of them can be used as web cams, except for the really cheep novelty digital cameras. What happens exactly happens when you try to bring up the webcam portion? I know that you can hook up cameras to computers to shoot photos(which then comes up instantly on the computer), are you sure you aren't talking about that?
The best place would be to check ur manual, if that doesn't help then give Canon USA a call. |
