Okay...soo...For the first couple of times hooking my camera (Canon Powershot A460) To my computer (Windows XP 2002) worked without a problem...then I started getting a problem...so I checked it on Hardware, and the problem was this...

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.

I tried troubleshooting but I got nothing...So...what do I do? This problem probably occur because you did not "safely remove hardware" from the computer before disconnecting. That is why it is still in the memory.
First, try restarting your PC. If not, connect the device, then unload it properly through the green icon that may appear on the task bar. Buy a card reader then you dont need to plug the camera in and you dont need to worry about the software. download picasa in here
http://picasa.google.com/
and try to import the pics from the program
