I plan to buy a Canon digital camera (IXUS 800 IS) 6 MP but I noticed there is a version on ebay (Ixy 900i) which is the Japanese market version. Is the Ixy made in Japan and the Ixus made in China? Is there any difference in quality in that case? What do you recommend? thankx No difference just warrenties. The IXY comes with ONLY the international warrienty while the SD cameras come with the America warriteny. you should get international one if you cant read japanese. i bet everything on japanese one is written in japanese. same camera
