Canon interchangeble lens?

I had a Canon EOS Rebel SLR film camera and I saved the lens when I sold the camera body. Now I am thinking of buying a Canon digital camera 300D or similar. Does any one know if the previous model lens will fit the digital cameras? Thanks.

You can use any lens from your film Rebel on ANY Canon digital SLR, including the 300D.
Two warnings, however:
* Manual focus lenses are not recommended. You can't use P mode (but A mode will work), and the 300D has a tiny viewfinder with poor focus aids.
* All lenses are magnified by a factor 1.6 on the 300D (as well as on the 350D, 400D, 20D and 30D). So a 50mm prime will appear to be a 50mm x 1.6 = 80mm lens. A 28-80mm zoom will appear to be 45-128mm, etc.

most Canon lens work with any body. It would be a obvious miss fit. You may not have all the functionality though

yes, it is standard for SLR.

Take your lens to your local camera store and try it out!
